Hi, I’m Kelvin.
Together with my wife Elaine, we’ve been running our boudoir and portraiture studio for more than 20 years. We made many friends – people who trusted us at their most vulnerable. It is a privilege we will cherish for life.
How does a session feel like?
We don’t limit time, there’s no rush. We truly understand how intimidating a boudoir session can be. We’re here to guide you, and you have all the time in the world to warm up to the experience.
You’re not required to pose. I won’t direct you into someone else’s idea of beautiful. All that’s required of you is to show up, and let the conversations happen naturally.
The process is closer to sitting for a portrait painting than a photoshoot. Elaine will be with you throughout, attending to everything you need while I work. We take our time, and I guide with simple directions — where to look, where to place your hands. I observe quietly, and photograph what moves me about you.
On the day, I was reluctant. I was a little bit scared. But the moment I stepped into the studio, my mood changed. It could be the lighting. It could be the music, but most importantly it was him. His quiet presence slowly melt the ice as I finally relaxed.
